வரலாறு சமூகம் சிந்தனை

Knowledge and thoughts of a society are shaped by its labor. The aim of this Book series is to break the common belief that most traditions of knowledge are from Sanskrit sastras. Rather, to us, knowledge is produced from the social practices and working lives of the people. This series would examine sources of written knowledge to the critical lens of historical critique and place them in the public domain. This series will also be published using the principles of Open Access.

சமூகத்தின் சிந்தனை மற்றும் அறிவுப்புலங்கள் மக்களின் அன்றாட உழைப்பிலிருந்து  திளைப்பவையே, சிந்தனை மரபுகள், சமஸ்கிருத சாத்திரங்களில் தோன்றியவை என்ற நம்பிக்கை பரவலாக நிலவுகிறது. மாறாக, சமூக நடைமுறைகளும், மக்கள் செயல்பாடுகளும், சாத்திரங்களின் ஊற்று என்ற கருத்தை வலியுறுத்துவது இந்த நூல் வரிசையின் குறிக்கோள். எழுத்தில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட சிந்தனை மரபுகளை சமூக வரலாற்று பார்வையில் ஆய்வுசெய்து, மக்கள் பார்வைக்கு கொண்டு வருவது எங்கள் முயற்சி. இந்த நூல்வரிசை எந்த கட்டுப்படும்  தடையுமின்றி பொதுவெளியில் அனைவரும் பயன்படுத்தும் வகையில் பதிப்பிக்கப்படும்.
